Shortcut reference

Every Windows shortcut Windsify maps on the Mac

On a standard Windows keyboard, physical Ctrl remains Control, the Windows key is reported to macOS as Command, and Alt is reported as Option — no system-level modifier swap required. Keyboard translation is off by default, and the Win+Arrow window shortcuts keep working either way through a macOS hot-key fallback.

Terminal apps keep Ctrl+A…Z as native control sequences, so Ctrl+C remains Interrupt. Ctrl+Shift+C/V/N/T/W provide Windows Terminal-style app actions.

Remote desktop apps receive Ctrl, Win, and Alt shortcuts unchanged.

Home and End become Windows-style line navigation only while a text editor is focused. Elsewhere they pass through to the app, which prevents synthetic Command+Arrow events from activating unrelated menus or window commands.

Dragging a window title bar to an edge or corner shows a preview and snaps the window on release.

When Windsify keyboard translation is enabled, its event tap owns the Win-key rows above. When keyboard translation is disabled, the macOS hot-key fallback owns them. Karabiner compatibility is only a migration state; overlapping Command-based shortcuts are released while it is actively remapping.
